View-Master Model B viewer – vintage – Marine Blue – 1944

One of two very short lived color variations from the common black bakelite version for the Model B that was called Marine Blue by View-Master in their magazine advertising in 1942. The viewer is in excellent+ condition with a photocopy of the original instructions.

Recently, information about a stress mark has emerged. Some collectors thought this was an imperfection that comes with age. However, it is not. This stress at the hinge was in the mold. The fact has been confirmed by collectors throughout the world. All of the blue Model Bs have this stress mark – to varying degrees.
